Description
The Multi - Process Workhorse
The POWER MIG 360MP is a top - notch professional multi - process welding system. It can handle Stick, TIG, MIG, and Flux - Cored welding. With advanced features like MIG and TIG Pulse Welding, Quick Set - UP, ArcFX technology, and Memory Capability. This package is tailor - made for trailer manufacturing and general fabrication. It has everything in the K4467 - 1, plus a Magnum Pro AL gun and is set up for aluminum. The max recommended aluminum thickness is 3/8.
Ready. Set. Weld. Quick Set - UP
Setting up this machine is a breeze. The 7 - inch LED screen is interactive and easy to follow. You can adjust settings for all three processes with push - and - turn digital controls. It can weld 4XXX and 5XXX series aluminum using Pulse Processes. You can feed aluminum in three ways: Push Gun, Spool Gun, or Push - Pull Gun.
Pulse - on - Pulse Mode
When MIG welding aluminum, it uses different pulse wave shapes to create a TIG - like bead and great weld properties. It controls arc length and heat input, making it easier to get good penetration.
Pulse MIG
It varies the weld current between high and low heat to control heat input. This reduces warping and burn - through on thin materials. You can weld in different positions without a slag system. It has optimized waveforms for various metals like aluminum, carbon steel, and more.
TIG Pulse
It helps prevent burn - through on thin materials, increases travel speed, and results in a smaller bead width. Lower heat input can reduce warpage, especially for stainless steel. You can turn TIG pulse on or off in the advanced options. A single knob controls the pulse frequency. The pulse setting regulates the output current between peak and background amperage.
Power Mode
It uses high - speed power regulation to respond quickly to arc changes. This improves MIG welding performance, with low spatter and better bead wetting. It's very useful for low - voltage applications on thin steel and stainless steel.
ArcFX Technology
It's a patented technology that gives instant graphical feedback on how wire feed speed and voltage affect the weld.

Accessories

Using the Lincoln Power MIG 360MP is quite simple. First, make sure you have all the included parts like the welder, adapter, drive roll kit, and gun. When setting it up, use the 7 - inch LED screen. It'll guide you through the process, and you can adjust settings with the push - and - turn controls. For aluminum welding, you can choose different feeding methods. If you're using Pulse - on - Pulse Mode, it'll give you a nice bead appearance. Just keep in mind that the max recommended thickness for aluminum is 3/8. When using Pulse MIG, it helps a lot with thin materials to avoid warping. You can also use TIG Pulse to prevent burn - through. Remember to turn it on or off in the advanced options. Power Mode is great for low - voltage applications on thin steel and stainless steel. As for maintenance, keep the machine clean and check the parts regularly. Make sure to follow all safety instructions when using this welding system.
