Accessories
Using the Miller Spectrum 875 Auto Plasma Cutter is quite straightforward. First, connect the power cord to a suitable power source within the 208 - 575 volts range, either single - or three - phase, 50 or 60 Hz. The Auto - Line™ feature will handle the voltage connection automatically. Then, attach the ICE - 60T handheld torch and the heavy - duty work clamp using the provided cables. The Ultra - Quick Connect™ makes this process fast. For cutting, simply set the workpiece and start the cutting process. The unit will automatically adjust the air pressure for optimal cutting thanks to the Automatic Air Regulation. When cutting expanded metal or multiple pieces of metal, the Auto - Refire™ technology will control the pilot arc for you.
Some important things to note: Keep the cutter in a clean environment as much as possible. The Wind Tunnel Technology™ helps protect it from dust, but it's still best to avoid extremely dirty or dusty places. Also, don't forget to check the consumables regularly. The product comes with extra consumables, including electrodes, tips, an extended tip, and a deflector. Replace them when they show signs of wear.
For maintenance, make sure to turn off the cutter and unplug it before any inspection. Check the cables for any damage and clean the exterior of the unit with a dry cloth. The Fan - On - Demand™ cooling system only runs when needed, which helps reduce dust intake, but you can still clean the air intake vents periodically to ensure good ventilation.
