Description
The Multi-Process Workhorse
The POWER MIG 360MP is a top - notch professional multi - process welding system. It can handle Stick, TIG, MIG, and Flux - Cored welding. With advanced features like MIG and TIG Pulse Welding, easy 'Ready. Set. Weld.' setup, ArcFX technology, and memory capability, it's a great choice. This package is ideal for trailer manufacturing and general fabrication. It has everything in the K4467 - 1, plus a Magnum Pro AL gun and is set up for aluminum welding. The max recommended thickness for aluminum is 3/8.
Ready. Set. Weld. Quick Set - UP
Setting up this machine and checking settings and advanced options is a breeze. The 7 - inch LED screen is interactive and easy to follow during setup. You can adjust all three processes easily with the push - and - turn digital controls. It can weld 4XXX and 5XXX series aluminum using Pulse Processes. You can feed aluminum in three ways: Push Gun, Spool Gun, or a Push - Pull Gun.
Pulse - on - Pulse Mode
When MIG welding aluminum, it uses different pulse wave shapes to create a TIG - like bead appearance and great weld properties. It controls arc length and heat input, making it easier to get good penetration.
Pulse MIG
It varies the weld current between high and low heat to control heat input better. This reduces warping and burn - through on thin materials. You can weld in different positions without a slag system. There are optimized GMAW - P waveforms for aluminum, carbon steel, high - strength low - alloy steel, stainless steel, and nickel alloys.
TIG Pulse
It helps prevent burn - through on thin materials, increases travel speed, and results in a smaller bead width. Lower heat input can reduce warpage, especially for stainless steel parts. You can turn TIG pulse on or off in the advanced options menu. A single knob controls the pulse frequency. The pulse setting adjusts the output current automatically.
Power Mode
It uses high - speed power regulation to respond quickly to arc changes. This improves MIG welding performance, with less spatter, more uniform bead wetting, and controlled penetration. It's very effective for low - voltage applications on thin steel and stainless steel.
ArcFX Technology
It's a patented technology that gives instant graphical feedback on how wire feed speed and voltage affect the weld result.

Accessories

Using the Lincoln Power MIG 360MP is straightforward. First, set up the machine following the 'Ready. Set. Weld.' quick setup guide. Use the 7 - inch LED screen to review and adjust settings with the push - and - turn digital controls. For aluminum welding, you can choose from three ways to feed the aluminum: Push Gun, Spool Gun, or Push - Pull Gun. When using Pulse - on - Pulse Mode for MIG welding aluminum, you'll get a great bead appearance. Pulse MIG and TIG Pulse are great for thin materials as they control heat input. You can turn TIG pulse on or off in the advanced options. Power Mode improves MIG welding performance, especially on thin steel and stainless steel. ArcFX technology will show you how wire feed speed and voltage affect the weld. Remember, the maximum recommended thickness for aluminum is 3/8. As for maintenance, keep the machine clean and follow the manufacturer's instructions for regular checks of the included items like the welder, adapter, drive roll kit, gun, and SuperGlaze 5554.
