Using this Hypertherm Powermax 125 power supply is a breeze. First, connect the power supply to a 480V source using the provided 10 - ft power cord. Make sure to have the I/O cables properly attached for the system to function. When starting your cutting or gouging job, you don't need to worry about adjusting the air pressure as the Smart SenseTM technology takes care of it. Select the appropriate torch style based on your job requirements. For maintenance, keep an eye on the consumables. Since they last longer than other systems, you won't need to replace them often. However, the electrode end - of - life detection will let you know when it's time to change the electrode. This feature also protects your torch and workpiece. The DuramaxTM Hyamp torches are built to resist high - impact and heat, but still handle them with care.
