Blue Demon ER308L TIG rod is ideal for welding 304, 304L, 308, and 308L stainless steels. Similar to type 308 but with a max carbon content of .03%. It can also weld 321 and 347 stainless steels. Suitable for cryogenic applications. Meets AWS A5.9, uses DCEN welding current, and comes in a 0.035 size.

To use this Blue Demon ER308L TIG rod, first make sure your welding equipment is set to DCEN current as specified. This rod is great for welding 304, 304L, 308, 308L, 321, and 347 stainless steels. For applications at cryogenic temperatures, it works well too. When welding, keep a steady hand for a smooth weld. Store the rod in a dry place to prevent rusting. If you notice any damage to the rod, don't use it. Clean the surface of the stainless - steel pieces before welding to get a better bond.
