To use this Blue Demon ER316L TIG rod, first make sure your welding machine is set to DCEN welding current. This rod is great for welding low carbon molybdenum - bearing austenitic alloys. When you're welding, keep in mind that because it's a low carbon alloy, it's not as strong as 316H at high temperatures. So, if you're working in a high - heat environment, take this into consideration. For storage, keep it in a dry place to prevent rusting. Also, check the rod for any damage before use. If you notice any cracks or deformities, don't use it as it may affect the quality of your weld. After use, clean the rod holder to keep it in good condition.
