The Blue Demon E312-16 stainless steel electrode is ideal for welding dissimilar joints of hardenable steels, steel armor, and other tough-to-weld steels. Its directional arc and self-detaching slag make welding a breeze. The weld deposits have high tensile strength and good abrasion resistance. It works with AC - DCEP current and comes in a 5/32" size.
Using these Blue Demon electrodes is easy. First, make sure your welding machine is set to the right current (AC - DCEP). Then, start welding the hard - to - weld steels like hardenable steels and steel armor. The directional arc helps you control the weld easily, and the self - detaching slag means you don't have to spend a lot of time cleaning up. As for maintenance, keep the electrodes in a dry place to prevent rusting. When you're done welding, turn off the machine properly. Be careful when handling the electrodes as they can get hot during use. If you notice any damage to the electrodes, don't use them as it may affect the quality of the weld.
