The conversion diffuser lets you upgrade legacy M - Series MIG Guns to the AccuLock Consumable Line. This is great as it reduces consumable inventory when you're using both M - Series and MDX MIG Guns.
Cooling Tail

Using this Miller AccuLock MDX Consumables Conversion Kit is easy. First, make sure you have an M - 100 or M - 150 MIG gun. Take out the parts from the kit which include .030' / .035' contact tips, a nozzle, and an AccuLock conversion diffuser. Install the conversion diffuser on your legacy M - Series MIG gun to upgrade it to the AccuLock Consumable Line. When replacing the contact tip, you'll find it quick due to the coarse thread. During use, the shielding gas cools the contact tip tail inside the diffuser. When cleaning, don't worry about the nozzle coming loose as the steel retaining ring on the diffuser keeps it tight. Keep the kit in a dry place and check the parts regularly for any signs of wear. If you notice any damage, replace the parts immediately for safe and efficient operation.
