Optimized Wire Feeding
The AccuLock consumables system precisely centers and locks the liner at the front and back of the gun. This ensures a perfect wire feed path from the feeder to the contact tip, greatly reducing burn - backs, birdnesting, and erratic arcs.
Cooling Tail
The contact tip tail is cooled inside the diffuser by shielding gas, enhancing its performance.
Tapered Connection
The tapered connection firmly locks the contact tip to the diffuser, providing excellent electrical conductivity.
Quick Tip Replacement
Coarse threads speed up the process of contact tip replacement, saving you time.
Stays Tight
The threaded nozzle remains tight during use and cleaning thanks to the steel retaining ring on the diffuser.

Accessories
Using the Miller AccuLock MDX - 250 MIG Consumable Kit is easy. First, install the liner in the gun using the AccuLock system to ensure a proper wire feed. Make sure the contact tip is firmly connected to the diffuser with the tapered connection. When it's time to replace the contact tip, use the coarse threads for a quick change. During use, the shielding gas will cool the contact tip tail inside the diffuser. Keep in mind that the threaded nozzle stays tight because of the steel retaining ring on the diffuser. For maintenance, clean the nozzle regularly. When not in use, store the kit in a dry place. Always refer to the MDX MIG gun spec sheet and consumable chart for detailed information.
