Compared to 316H, it's less strong at high temperatures. It meets AWS A5.9 standards and requires DCEN welding current.

To use this Blue Demon ER316L TIG welding rod, first make sure your welding machine is set to DCEN current as required. Clean the surface of the low - carbon molybdenum - bearing austenitic alloy you're going to weld. Then, start welding as you normally would. Remember, this rod is not as strong as 316H at high temperatures, so avoid overheating. After use, keep the rod in a dry place to prevent rust.
