Blue Demon's ER316L stainless TIG welding rod is 1/16 in in diameter, 36 in long, and weighs 10 lbs. Ideal for welding low - carbon molybdenum - bearing austenitic alloys. It has a lower strength than 316H at high temperatures. Complies with AWS A5.9 and uses DCEN welding current.
To use this Blue Demon ER316L TIG rod, first make sure your welding machine is set to DCEN welding current as specified. This rod is mainly for welding low - carbon molybdenum - bearing austenitic alloys. When welding, keep in mind that it won't be as strong as 316H at high temperatures.
