This Blue Demon ER308L stainless steel TIG rod is easy to use. First, make sure your welding machine is set to DCEN welding current as this rod requires it. When you're welding 304, 304L, 308, 308L, 321, or 347 stainless steels, keep a steady hand to get a smooth weld. It can be used in cryogenic - temperature applications, but be extra careful in those cold conditions. After use, store the rod in a dry place to prevent it from rusting. And always follow the AWS A5.9 standard for safety and quality. If you notice any damage to the rod, don't use it.
