To use these Blue Demon E308L - 16 stainless stick electrodes, first make sure your welding equipment supports AC - DCEP current as specified by AWS A5.4. Select the 3/32 - inch size electrode according to your needs. When welding 304L, 321, or 347 stainless steels, you'll benefit from its controlled ferrite that gives good toughness at low temperatures. Remember, it deposits only up to 0.04% carbon in the weld metal, so you can avoid too much chromium carbide formation. For storage, keep them in a dry place. If they get wet, dry them properly before use. After each use, clean the electrodes to keep them in good condition and extend their service life.
