Description
The Blue Demon E308/308L-16 is an ultra-low carbon electrode perfect for welding 304L, 321, and 347 stainless steels. It offers excellent notch toughness at cryogenic temperatures due to its controlled ferrite in the weld deposits. With a maximum of .04% carbon deposited in the weld metal, it minimizes the formation of chromium carbides. It supports AC - DCEP welding current as per AWS A5.4 standards. The size is 3/32' and the dimensions are 16 x 2 x 2 inches.
To use these Blue Demon E308L - 16 stainless stick electrodes, first make sure your welding machine is set to the appropriate AC - DCEP current as per AWS A5.4. Select the metals you want to weld, like 304L, 321, or 347 stainless steels. When welding, keep in mind that the controlled ferrite in the electrodes gives good toughness in cold temperatures.
