Description
The patented FlushCut consumable design has an angled nozzle bore. It shoots the plasma arc at a 45 - degree angle, bending the arc. This lets Powermax users cut closer to the base than ever. It cuts down on grinding and makes it easier to reuse pad eyes, attachments, and other temporary weld supports.
This kit works with Duramax Torches on Powermax 45XP, 65, and 85 models.

Using this Hypertherm Powermax 45A FlushCut Starter Consumable Kit is easy. First, make sure your Powermax is one of the compatible models (45XP, 65, or 85) and it has a Duramax Torch. Take the parts out of the plastic storage case and install them in your torch following the included guide. You can use it with either a hand - held or a mechanized torch. When cutting, enjoy the 45 - degree angle plasma arc, which helps you cut closer to the base and reduces grinding. Remember, this kit is more efficient than oxy - fuel and carbon arc gouging. As for maintenance, keep the parts clean and dry when not in use. Check the retaining ring, cap, nozzle/shield, swirl ring, and electrode regularly for wear and tear. If you notice any issues, replace the parts as needed.
