This .035 carbon steel, self-shielded solid wire is perfect for single pass applications. It's formulated with a high deoxidizer content, ensuring excellent welding performance with CO2 and argon-rich shielding gases. The HB-28 wire creates an incredibly smooth and stable arc, with very little spatter. It also has great wetting characteristics for a uniform tie-in.

To use this Hobart weld wire, first make sure your welding machine is set up for the appropriate type of shielding gas, either CO2 or argon - rich gas.
