Description
A continuous solid wire made of corrosion - resisting chromium - nickel. It's perfect for welding 18% Cr - 8% Ni - type austenitic chromium nickel alloys. The OK Autrod 308LSi offers excellent general corrosion resistance.
With low carbon content, it's highly recommended in areas at risk of intergranular corrosion. The higher silicon content enhances welding properties like wetting. Widely used in chemical and food processing industries, as well as for pipes, tubes, and boilers.

Using this ESAB OK Autorod 308LSi Stainless Steel MIG Wire is straightforward. First, make sure your welding machine is set to the appropriate parameters for the thickness of the metal you're working with. Insert the wire into the welding gun and start welding as you normally would. When using it, avoid welding in very windy conditions as it can affect the quality of the weld. Also, keep the wire away from moisture to prevent corrosion. After each use, clean the welding gun to remove any debris. Store the wire in a dry place to maintain its quality and performance over time.
