Blue Demon ER309/309L is like type 309 but with a carbon content below .03%. The ultra - low carbon gives great resistance to carbide precipitation and corrosion. It's perfect for dissimilar joints that need heat treatment. Meets AWS A5.9 standard, uses DCEP welding current. Can be used in full, vertical, overhead, and horizontal positions. Wire size is 0.045, and the package dimensions are 4 x 4 x 2 inches.
