These two adapters enable the LPR-100 Gen II to undergo quantitative fit testing with a TSI Portacount Fit Test Machine. Fit testing is essential for mandatory tight-fitting facepiece respirator use. It helps find the best respirator make, model, style, and size for each user. Respirator fit testing can be done through qualitative and/or quantitative methods. Qualitative testing is a pass/fail test based on the wearer's reaction to an irritant to detect leakage. How to use: First, connect the two Miller adapters to the LPR - 100 Gen II and the TSI Portacount Fit Test Machine as per the machine's instructions. Then start the quantitative fit - testing process. Make sure the user wears the respirator properly during the test. Note: Fit testing is required for using tight - fitting facepiece respirators.
